He found temporary support in Heinrich Klaasen (31), as the duo stabilized the innings with a rapid mid-over acceleration. Despite Kishan’s brilliance, RCB’s death bowling remained disciplined.     Padikkal, returning to the colors where he first rose to fame, was the primary aggressor early on. He reached a blistering fifty in just 21 balls, eventually finishing with 61 runs off 26 balls, including 7 fours and 4 sixes. His departure at 110/2 didn’t slow the momentum, as Kohli took over the mantle of the anchor-aggressor.

This emphatic win not only earned RCB two points but also provided a massive boost to their Net Run Rate, marking a perfect start to their 2026 campaign.
