Ryan Garcia Roasts BoMac Over Conor Benn Pick

Ryan Garcia slammed Brian “BoMac” McIntyre after the trainer predicted Conor Benn will stop him, targeting McIntyre’s diet and questioning his judgment.

McIntyre argued that Garcia declined following his 2023 loss to Gervonta Davis, backing Benn to land a stoppage when they fight September 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“Ryan is burnt. He hasn’t been the same since his first fight with Tank. He got popped. He never got back into his type,” McIntyre said to Brian Custer on his channel. “I’ve seen Benn firsthand. Man, he’s going to hurt that dude.”

The Ring amplified the knockout pick on X earlier today, drawing a response from Ryan.

“All he needs to worry about is to stop eating all them f*****g chips and taking care of his body and temple. Cause his Brain ain’t working for shit,” Garcia posted.

McIntyre left “popped” undefined, though fans familiar with Ryan’s positive Ostarine tests after his April 2024 fight against Devin Haney may connect the comment to that episode.

The Haney performance complicates the claim of a post-Tank decline. Ryan dropped Haney three times, winning a 12-round majority decision before the result was changed to a no-contest over the positive tests.

His ring return after serving the suspension offered a stronger argument for McIntyre. Garcia hit the canvas in round two against Rolly Romero in May 2025 and struggled to produce sustained offense in a unanimous decision loss.

That performance gave BoMac more ammunition for his criticism. Garcia chose personal insults rather than answering it.
