Wolves technical director departs after eight years

Wolves have announced the exit of technical director Scott Sellars after over eight years at the club.

Throughout his time at the club since arriving in 2014, he has held many different roles, including Under-21 manager, head of development care, general manager and most recently, technical director.

He held that role since January 2021 and acted as a support to both the boardroom and coaching staff.

“Scott has been a big influence at Wolves in my time at the club, and you can see from his elevation through different departments and roles how highly we think of him,” stated chairman Jeff Shi.

“A football person through and through, with exceptional experience in the game as a player and a coach, Scott brought that with him to work every day and used it to improve the next generation of young footballers.”
