Education Minister Dipu Moni has contracted coronavirus in the second phase. Education Ministry public relations officer Abul Khair told Prothom Alo on Saturday night.
Abul Khair said the education minister gave samples for corona test on Saturday morning as he was physically ill. His corona came positive in RTPCR test in the evening. He is currently in isolation at his official residence on Hair Road in the capital. The minister asked for everyone’s blessings.
The education minister is again affected by Corona
Dipu Moni became a Member of Parliament after winning the Chandpur-3 constituency in the 2008 parliamentary elections and became the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. After becoming a Member of Parliament in the Eleventh Parliamentary Election in 2016, he became the Minister of Education.
