It has been reported that the Jazz and the Knicks have started talks regarding a trade that would send Donovan Mitchell to New York.
Even though the Knicks are thought to have enough assets to make this deal work, it will not be a quick process, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
As reported by Tommy Beer, Charania expects the two teams to work on a deal for two-to-three weeks or even the rest of this offseason.
Shams Charania, when asked about trade talks between Utah and New York on the NBA TV broadcast, says he “expects this to be a dance that plays out over the next two-to-three weeks or the rest of the offseason.”
