Elections are going to be held again in Israel. The country is going to hold general elections for the fifth time in four years.
According to the BBC, the current government has taken this path after cracking down on the latest coalition. The election may be held next October
Elections will not be held under current Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The election will be held under his ally Yar Lapid. Because, according to the terms of the alliance, Bennett will be the prime minister for half of the full term of the government and Lapid for half the time.
Meanwhile, the country’s former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed some excitement over the break-up of the alliance. He says he will return to power in the coming elections.
