Partizan signs James Nunnally

Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade has signed American small forward James Nunnally (201 cm) for the 2022/2023 season. Nunnally already worked with Partizan head coach Zeljko Obradovic in the past, when they won the EuroLeague title in 2017.

James Nunnally comes from Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he averaged 13.8 points on 40.7% three-point shooting and 89.8% free throw accuracy, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 32 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season.

James Nunnally connected on 45.2% of his three-point shots in five EuroLeague seasons, which is the second-best shooting percentage ever for a player with at least 150 triples, only trailing Petteri Koponen (247-of-535, 46.2% 3FG). In addition to winning the EuroLeague, he also won two Turkish championships and one Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce. Partizan will be his fourth EuroLeague stop after three seasons with Fenerbahce and one with Maccabi and AX Armani Exchange Milan. He has also played for Maccabi Ashdod in Israel, Estudiantes Madrid in Spain; Avellino and Milan in Italy; Kavala in Greece, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Houston, and New Orleans in the NBA; Bakersfield and Frisco in the G-League; and Shanghai in China.
