FDOH & Lee County to launch reservation system ahead of new COVID-19 vaccination site

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Lee County will offer a COVID-19 vaccination site this week along with a reservation system set to launch Monday.
Any frontline healthcare workers and those 65 and older can make a reservation for appointments during the scheduled dates and hours for the site. This COVID-19 vaccination site will only be open to people who make appointments.
Officials made the announcement Sunday in a news conference at the Lee County Emergency Operations Center. This comes after the first week of COVID-19 vaccine doses being administered in the county.
For the upcoming week, anyone considered a frontline healthcare worker or 65 and older can make a reservation using the toll-free number 1-833-618-2001 starting Monday at noon. Officials said you should wait until the line opens on Monday to call.

The call center will be open noon to 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the remainder of the week until 5,000 appointments are filled.
