Here’s what to know about this oddsboard: 

The Favorites: The defending champion Dodgers are getting hot at the right time, while the Brewers have just been hot all along. As of Sept. 11, L.A. has won seven in a row and eight of its last 10. However, its last six wins have come over the Reds and the Nationals — not exactly juggernauts. The Dodgers will close the season with series against the Marlins, Reds, Padres and Giants (twice). As for the Brewers, they were the first team to reach 90 wins, and have series against the Reds, Pirates, Orioles and Cardinals remaining. But it is a three-game series at Philadelphia from Sept. 22-24 that could have some playoff implications.
