The New York Yankees are nervously awaiting scan results after star man Aaron Judge reported discomfort in his elbow.
He has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against Philadelphia Phillies at Yankee Stadium, with the team waiting for imaging results.
Judge played Friday night in the team’s 12-5 loss to the Phillies but was struggling to throw, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Saturday.
Judge, 33, has hit 37 home runs this season but the Yankees have been struggling badly of late.
They have fallen down to second in the AL East standings, six wins behind leaders Toronto Blue Jays, with stuttering form that has fallen under .500 since May.
