England booked their place in the European Championship final in stunning fashion after coming within seconds of defeat on Tuesday night.
The defending champions were close to crashing out after Barbara Bonansea’s first half goal after she fired high past Hannah Hampton from close range.
But Michelle Agyemang scored with just seconds remaining in normal time, and it looked as though the game was heading for penalties once again.
That was until Beth Mead was pulled down in the penalty area, and Chloe Kelly stepped up to take the spot kick. Her penalty was saved, but she followed in for the rebound to net the winner.
