Salisbury Hospice receives £1,000 from bowling club fundraiser


Fordingbridge Bowling Club raised £1,000 for the Salisbury Hospice in their fundraiser.

On Sunday, June 2, Fordingbridge Bowling Club hosted a “Joint Captain’s Day”, which included bowling games, raffles, and sandwiches and cakes which their catering team provided for the day.

The Men’s Captain and his wife donated a Methuselah sized bottle of Prosecco, which was a huge contribution to the amount raised.

Nearby bowling clubs also attended the fundraiser and supported the ongoing raffle.

The Bowling Club handed over the cheque for £1,000 on Monday, July 17 to the hospice.
